Visitar Ltd operates Visitar.com. We started in Lisbon with a limited collection so that each profile could be checked properly. The aim is not to show the largest possible number of properties. It is to make every published page useful enough for you to decide whether to contact the property.
Facts and context
We begin with information that can be checked.
Where the data is available, we confirm the official registration, address, property type and capacity. We then use suitable public sources to understand access, room arrangements, facilities, timings and practical rules. If a detail is unclear, we do not present it as fact.
Editorial district photographs are identified by the place they show. A Mouraria street is never presented as the inside of a hotel.
What guests report
We look for patterns; we do not republish reviews.
We examine a recent sample of public guest feedback to find repeated points that could change a decision. We record the period, sources and research date internally. The published text is an original Visitar.com summary: it does not copy sentences, identify individual reviewers or turn an unsupported experience into a fact.
Editorial maintenance
Research has a date and a review cycle.
Profiles show when practical details and guest-feedback guidance were reviewed. Each block has its own research date. When the research changes, the visible date and sitemap record change too, giving readers, search engines and automated systems a clear update signal.
