The apartment
Room to settle in on Rua da Boavista
Behind a restored Rua da Boavista façade, Look Living has six unusually large apartments, from a 65-square-metre studio to two-bedroom homes of about 110 square metres. Each has a kitchen and living room, yet breakfast and dinner are only a lift ride away at Intenso, the independent restaurant on the ground floor.
This western end of Cais do Sodré sits between the late-night streets near the station and the calmer route towards Santos. The building’s old entrance has steps before the lift, so it is not fully step-free. Lower apartments are closer to the restaurant and nearby music venues; ask for the floor and outlook if quiet matters. For several nights in Lisbon, the space and kitchen make a real difference.
